DICE is an interactive installation that explores the invisible force that shapes the random encounters between interactive artworks and the audience: luck.
Taking the form of Iregular’s signature giant cube, DICE invites visitors to play with their own shadows across five rotating chapters, each interpreting luck from a different perspective: Self-Fulfilling Prophecy, Serendipity, Chaos Theory, Synchronicity, and Fate. Each theme influences how participants engage with the piece and transforms its evolving visual and sonic composition.
Using AI-powered tracking, DICE captures gestures and transforms them into projected silhouettes that are continuously drawn and redrawn by people’s unpredictable movements. Combined with random generative software, this process creates ever-changing living artworks that are never the same.
